Pio Conti is a Professor of Immunology with over forty years of experience in immunology and pathology. He holds a Doctorate in Biology from L’Aquila University and a Ph.D. in Inflammation from Georgetown University. He has held academic positions at several prestigious institutions, including Chieti University, Georgetown University, and Tufts University Medical School. From 2007 to 2022, Dr. Conti served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Biological Regulators and Homeostatic Agents. Additionally, he has previously been the founder and Editor-in-Chief of journals such as the International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology and the European Journal of Inflammation. He has published over 400 scientific papers and has made significant contributions to the fields of cytokines, chemokines, and mast cell biology. |
